  • From Usk to the Jurassic Coast.

    *waves*

    Hi All

We have been all over the place.

This is just one shot from Usk in the Wye Valley.

I was amazed to learn how old this place was! Not only that,

I thought it was a private home,

but guess what.  It is a luxury holiday home that you can rent - if you want. :D

On Resurrection Sunday, we travelled down to Bournemouth for a few days.

We had no rain!  This following photo was taken as we walked up to Old Harry Rocks,

Jurassic Coast.  As you can see the sun shone for us!!

I will let you read more about it - just click on the link:

  • A surprising discovery

    Church in Wales, St Mellons

St Mellons Parish Church is a Mediaeval building dating from the mid 13 century.

What an amazing surprise to find out on the internet that the church just on top of the hill in Wales is linked to the parish of Alberton in the Highveld, South Africa!

So, it snowed like crazy today and I went out to take some photos.

    Church in Wales, St. Mellons

My aim when going out today was specifically to photograph this church.

    A beautiful setting.

The snow is so beautiful and I love the purity of it.

There are more photos on my flickr account.

Just click on one of the above photos and it will take you there.

Hope you are all well.  I am still without a car, but hopefully soon.

    Bless you all.

  • God is still God :)

    Psalm 46v10

'Be still and know that I Am God'.

2012 did not end well and 2013 did not begin well, but God is still on the throne. He is still God and I worship Him with all my heart. I pray that His joy may bubble up inside of me and spill over and touch those who bump into me. :)

Ended the year with the dreaded flu and spent some hours in hospital, but have recovered well. That's past - it's gone. :)

Began the year (4 January 2013) by writing off our car, but I am grateful that all I have are some bruises and I am healing well and will be up to my normal me within the next week. :)

    My hubby is well too.

Would appreciate your prayers as we go through the palava with the insurance company. We pray for favour so that we can buy another vehicle.

About Me

  • I love photography. I also love the Lord. I and my husband are missionaries to Wales from South Africa. All my family still reside in South Africa and I miss them tremendously. Not being able to see them for long periods of time is difficult. I find it hardest to cope when something happens to them [and it happens often] in these turbulent times in my beloved country. That is when I find it most difficult...not being there to just give a HUG!!!
